User Agreement
The agreement covering your DNGate account. By creating an account — with email and password, or by continuing with Google — you accept it. Last updated 2026-10-14.
1. This agreement
- This User Agreement is between you and DNGate ("we", "us"). It covers your account: creating it, keeping it secure, what you may use it for, and what happens if things go wrong.
- Orders, payments and the account balance are covered by our Terms of Service. Domain registrations are also subject to the rules of the applicable registry and ICANN — where those differ, the registry governs that domain.
- You must be able to enter a binding contract where you live to create an account.
2. Your account
- Give us accurate account information and keep it current — we use your email to tell you about orders, renewals and account security.
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, so enable two-factor authentication (Profile → Security) and contact us from the Support page if you suspect unauthorized access.
- One account per person or organization; don't share an account or resell access to it.
- You don't need an account to search for domains — only to register and manage them.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't use DNGate for unlawful purposes, including phishing, malware, spam, fraud, or infringing someone else's rights.
- Don't provide false registrant (WHOIS) data, and don't register a domain to impersonate someone else.
- Don't try to bypass our security, payment, pricing or rate limits, and don't abuse refunds or chargebacks.
- Don't place automated or high-volume load on the service that degrades it for other customers.
- We may refuse or cancel orders, or suspend an account, that we reasonably believe breaks these rules.
4. Domains you register
- Availability and price are checked live at checkout and are confirmed only when the registry accepts the registration. If a registration fails, the amount you paid for the failed item is refunded automatically.
- You are the registrant of a registered domain, subject to registry and ICANN policies (WHOIS accuracy, transfers, the 60-day change-of-registrant lock, redemption periods, premium pricing).
- Renewals are your responsibility unless you enable auto-renew for a domain; auto-renew charges the saved card or your balance on the schedule shown in the app.
- Registrations are placed through accredited registrar partners, whose policies also apply to the relevant domain.
- Optional Web3 features (for example claiming control of a domain as a token) are experimental and have additional terms shown in the app when they are enabled; the underlying domain registration stays subject to this agreement.
5. Payments
- Card payments are processed by Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers. Prepaid balance is described in the Terms of Service.
- Prices are in US dollars; you are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.
- If a payment is disputed or charged back, we may freeze the account balance and suspend the account while we review it.
6. Your data
- We keep your account details, order history and support messages to run the service and to meet our legal and registry obligations.
- Registrant contact data for a domain is submitted to the registry and may be published in WHOIS as registry policy and privacy rules require. You can edit contacts from the domain's WHOIS tab; some fields are mandatory.
- We don't sell your personal data.
7. Our service
- The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it available, but we don't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation — registries, payment providers and networks can fail independently of us.
- We may add, change or discontinue features. When a change materially affects you, we let you know in the app or by email.
8. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or close an account for a material breach of this agreement (including unpaid orders, fraud, abuse, or a chargeback).
- You can close your account from the Support page. Registered domains keep existing until they expire: transfer or delete them first, because closing an account does not cancel a registration.
- Any prepaid balance is handled per the Terms of Service. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — payments, liability, this section — do.
9. Liability
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the twelve months before the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, business or domain value.
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to this agreement
- We may update this agreement; the date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Material changes are announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
- Continuing to use your account after a change takes effect means you accept the updated agreement. If you don't, stop using the account and transfer out your domains.
Questions about this agreement? Reach us from the Support page inside the app. It is written to be read — it describes what we do and what we expect — and it does not limit your mandatory statutory rights.
